Il Riccio Restaurant
Hotel life revolves around the exquisite food and relaxed atmosphere at Il Riccio, a casual dining concept inspired by the one-Michelin star restaurant at the Capri Palace Hotel in Italy. The sunny terrace at Il Riccio overlooks Paradise Bay and guests relax in director’s chairs at tables decorated in a deep turquoise hue. At breakfast, guests may order freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, just out of the oven pastries and Turkish-style omelets. Lunch and dinner focus on Italian classics, including caprese salad with water buffalo mozzarella and melt-in-your-mouth cheese-filled ravioli prepared with cherry tomatoes and basil sauce.
Resident chef Giovanni Caiazzo from Naples does inventive dishes such as a gazpacho-style soup with green peppers, red prawns, ricotta cheese and crostini before moving to the restaurant’s specialty: seafood. There is seared tuna fillet with cous cous and crunchy onions or a simple but expertly executed spaghetti with sea urchins. To round off the Italian-accented gastronomic experience, diners visit the Temptation Room offering a buffet-style presentation of desserts from tiramisu to Neapolitan pastries.
